In memory

It was 14 years ago today that my mother-in-law Marie Lemire died of cancer. So in her memory I will share one of my favourite quotes that I use for Bottles of Hope.

"When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something's suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful. "
